Brian Eno: 77 Million Paintings and Other Audio-Visual Works
Moments with a legend
Helsinki Festival’s theme guest is the most influential music producer in the world, a pioneer of electronic music and father figure of ambient music, Brian Eno. He is known as a producer who has worked with David Bowie, U2 and Talking Heads, as a visual artist and music theoretician, but above all, as a creator of special musical worlds.
Eno brings to Helsinki Festival his already-classic installation 77 Million Paintings (2006): a work that will constantly evolve during its 18 days on display. The Helsinki Music Center exhibition also includes Eno’s immersive installations The Ship and Thursday Afternoon. The exhibition also features a new piece Totnes displayed every night at 18:00 on the Music Centre media wall.
19 August – 5 September, Helsinki Music Centre.
