Event Introduction

One of the hottest guitar rock groups from England comes to Huvila directly from the massive festivals of Reading and Leeds, where they share the main stage with, for example, The Killers.

Founded in 2012, the energetic band has become an arena-class performer thanks to the irresistible pop hooks, with their latest tour culminating in a big gig at the London 02 Arena. The band’s three albums have all gone to the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart, and the numerous hits, like Amsterdam, Sorry, Impossible and If I Get High, have been streamed on Spotify tens of millions of times.

Huvila in the summer of 2023 may be the last chance to experience Nothing But Thieves in such an intimate setting before the band achieves global superstardom.

Recording for the New York label AntiFragile Music, Lake Jons opens the evening. The band has been doing delicately atmospheric folktronica-tinged dream-pop and indie since its founding in 2014.
