Every Helsinki Festival Thursday, Kämp Collection Hotels get into the festival spirit as the evening begins with the city’s most relaxed after work party. Come as you are, on your own or with a friend – the pre-parties have no admission fee!
Vibraphonist Panu Savolainen is a member of the jazz trio Herd, which is famous for their colourful gigs. Selected as Artist of the Year at Pori Jazz in 2010, Savolainen has also worked as the artistic director of Kalkkiranta Jazz. His playing is a combination of no-nonsense swing and technical finesse, always serving the music at hand – both as a classical percussionist and as a jazz soloist.

Ylva Haru is a Finnish singer-songwriter known for her atmospheric folk songs. Lotta Jääskelä’s newest alter ego has shed her skin once again and turned to a rootsy guitar sound and vocal harmonies. Released earlier this year, the debut album Linnut contains delicate, beautiful and touching lyrics and melodies, with a soundscape inspired by Tove Jansson’s summer cottage island.

Next generation artist and band Antti Autio plays Finnish folk rock based on fresh and powerful lyrics and complex guitar-playing. The acclaimed band is known for its original style as well as intense and atmospheric gigs. This year has seen the band release a new album and perform at sold-out venues.
