Alma – The Story of a Poltergeist
Event Introduction
Mezzo-soprano Heidi Jakkula and pianist Heikki Pellinen will paint a musical portrait of Alma, who died in 1948. It is inspired by a ghost story that is based on true events from the early 2000s. It describes what happened to the Lassila family in a post-war house in Oulu built in the 1950s, which they shared with Alma, a poltergeist. The concert will be performed in Swedish with Finnish translations.
