La Mer La Mer multi-artform concert
Event Introduction
The concert will feature soprano Niina Tamminiemi, composer and sound designer Johannes Wist; pianist Kumi Komori, together with bandoneon and accordion player, organist and pianist Mikko Helenius and poet Miira Sippola. They will create a sea-like soundscape of music and poems – like the sea and the islands that emerge from it. The composers whose music will be performed include Claude Debussy, Toivo Kuula, Leevi Madetoja and Lasse Mårtenson.
