MÖRKÖ and PÖLKKY
Event Introduction
The Mörkö and Pölkky exhibition brings together two creators and two materials in Tuula Pöyhönen’s Ragamuf rug concept and Saara Renvall’s wooden sculptures. Although the works are different, there are similarities in the way the ideas came about: the creators implement a change that our post-normal time badly needs. They explore and produce new kinds of artefacts that are critical of our time, consumption behaviours and production methods and, above all, the relationship between human and matter.
