OAF X Caisa: Madde Matilda, MC Zen & Urbaani Unelma, Pure
Event Introduction
OAF’s Musical Microcosm is lyrical, original, moving and topical. On the Night of the Arts, three artists will take to the stage for the OAF Opening Night: Madde Matilda, MC Zen & Urbaani Unelma and Pure.
Madde Matilda is a duo from west Finland that makes fresh upbeat pop music about their own lifes and things that are important for them. “We both have Down’s syndrome, but it doesn’t stop us from doing what we want and working towards our dreams”.
Pure is a rap artist from Joensuu, specializing in improvised freestyle rap. Pure will perform a freestyle rap show, improvising rhymes on the spot about any topics the audience gives him.
MC Zen & Urbaani Unelma is an energetic and lyrically diverse Finnish rap group. The group, which released their EP Satakieli in autumn 2023, will perform at the Outsider art festival with a three-piece line-up including frontman MC Zen (Sami Kekäläinen), percussionist Eero Loutti and guitarist Linda Toratti.
