Event Introduction

After several years of renovation, the Worker’s Museum – showcasing working-class homes in Helsinki through the 20th century – is reopening with a familiar charm and many new updates. On the Night of the Arts, 14 August, we’ll celebrate the reopening into the evening and explore the stories of the old building from basement to attic. Starting at 17:00, the atmosphere will be set by gramophone artist DJ Old Crank, who will play shellac records on a hand-cranked gramophone. Free entry – You are warmly invited!
