The Night of the Arts in Laterna Magica
Event Introduction
Laterna Magica’s 35th anniversary Night of the Arts programme will feature art, talk about books and live music.
Programme:
- 17:00–19:00: Opening of three exhibitions
- Cellar Gallery: Documentary installation ‘Four Trick Pony’ by Pia Andell and Mina Laamo
- Tile Gallery: Jana Výborná-Turunen: ‘Kaltaisiani’ (People like me)
- Book Gallery: Ink paintings by Takuyo Kawachi
- 19:30: Author talk with Sanna Nyqvist on her book Rannalla — Miten kirjailijat löysivät meren
- 20:00: DJ plays unusual music
- 20:30: Live music in the bookshop: Jean Ramsay and Tollund Trio (Paula Susitaival, Jaakko Kyrö)
