Wandering Dervish
My name is Tuula Tuisku Honkanen, and I wander the Night of Arts 2024 as a whirling dervish. Just like the wandering dervishes of the olden days I walk in my whirling skirt and stop upon finding suitable spots for whirling. The aim of the dance is to bring the onlookers into a state of presence. I do not represent any religion. I only wish to bring peace where it’s most needed: amongst the crowd.
