War and Peace – a silent reading performance
Event Introduction
The reading performance of War and Peace will last 4.5 hours as the evening falls. You can attend the performance for just a short time if you wish. Sit on a chair, put a head torch on your head and read Tolstoy’s War and Peace for as long as you want to. Images, texts and live stream from the performance will be published on Uusi Sivu (New Page) online publication’s platforms.
The performance is a work carried out by conceptual artist JP (Juha-Pekka) Väisänen in cooperation with PAND, which is a peace organisation for artists and cultural workers.
