150 years of running water and a tap water bar
Event Introduction
The event celebrates 150 years of water utility operations in the Helsinki Region. The Helsinki Region Environmental Services (HSY) will set up a tent where you can dive into the history of water utility services by spinning a wheel of fortune, printing an image of the anniversary-year manhole cover on a tote bag and enjoying the Veden virtaa (Running water) gymnastics performance by Finland’s national rhythmic gymnastics team and a group of young talents. Visitors can also fill their bottles with the best tap water in the world at our tap water bar.
