Event Introduction
AKVAARIO, a Helsinki-based bedroom pop-rock band, took on its current form in summer 2025, with the formerly solo project recomposed as a duo for the Night of the Arts. With this new lineup, the band has developed its distinctive melancholic sound, which blends acoustic and electronic elements.
AKVAARIO’s lyrics are open-ended metaphors that channel life, death and hazy thoughts. They encompass everything from the depths of the ocean to a sense of soaring heights.
