Event Introduction

Art for Mental Health – Cross-Border Recovery – Kickstart Event

The Art for Mental Health – Cross-Border Recovery project’s Kickstart event is aimed at young adults aged 18–30. The project provides safe spaces for self-expression, dialogue, and intercultural interaction. During the workshop, we will introduce the project’s upcoming workshop series (6 workshops in total), which will begin in September 2026. Participants in the Kickstart event will also have the opportunity to try out and engage in multidisciplinary artistic exercises themselves.

The upcoming autumn workshops will include, among other things, participatory arts practices, online workshops, peer-led methods, mindfulness and awareness skills, digital storytelling, and the creation of a collaborative online art exhibition at the end of the programme. The project also includes an exchange visit with our partner organization, Odos, in Slovakia, as well as a return visit to Finland.

At the Night of the Arts Kickstart workshop, participants will also have the chance to explore and experiment with the project’s themes through multidisciplinary artistic activities. Refreshments will be served, and advance registration is encouraged via the following link: https://link.webropol.com/s/art4mh-kickstart-ilmoittaudu
