A Love Supreme is an album released by John Coltrane in 1965, widely considered one of the most significant jazz records of all time.
In 1964, Coltrane began having dreams in which he said God revealed various musical works and concepts to him. In the winter of 1964, the entire A Love Supreme album appeared to him in such a dream, and the John Coltrane Quartet recorded this piece—widely considered one of the greatest jazz albums of all time—in December 1964. John Coltrane would have turned 100 years old in the autumn of 2026. To mark the occasion, Dimitri Grechi Espinosa has created a new “meditation” or interpretation of the work.
