Event Introduction

Melodies and heartbeats at Villa Aino Ackté. What happens when the most celebrated opera diva in Finnish history and a beloved master composer meet under the same roof on a summer night?

On the Night of the Arts, we are invited to glimpse behind closed doors in an intimate short play starring Emmy Achté (Aino Ackté’s mother and a pioneer of Finnish opera) and the musical genius who stole numerous hearts, composer Oskar Merikanto.

Performances at 6:30 pm and 8 pm (duration: approx. 40 min)
Seats are limited – please arrive early and enjoy the surrounding art.
