Free the line! A relaxed and fast-paced drawing workshop

Image: Jone Mutka

Event Introduction

Using a relaxed approach and quick strokes, participants will draw various objects, and potentially each other, from observation.

The workshop involves quick, spontaneous drawing using a range of tools, such as felt-tip pens and pencils. Critical judgement will be set aside, with the focus solely on drawing and enjoying the process. Participants will draw objects using various methods, including drawing with a single line, without looking at the paper and using their non-dominant hand. The aim is to free participants from pressure and self-criticism and the need to achieve realism when drawing.

The workshop will run on a drop-in basis.
