Ilves-Teatteri: KEIJU
Event Introduction
A strange chain of events began in the village of Cottingley in England in 1917. Two school-age cousins insisted that they had seen fairies by the stream behind their family home. The events led to a nationwide media frenzy, with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of Sherlock Holmes, at its centre.
KEIJU (Fairy) is a performance based on a play by Tua Parkkinen and takes place in the liminal space between truth and fiction.
Duration: approx. 75 minutes, no intermission.
Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before the performance begins.
