Immersion course in Northern Sámi language and music alongside an open house
Event Introduction
Bures boahtin! Get into the spirit of the Night of the Arts!
An open house and a Night of the Arts pre-event will be held at Helsinki White Ribbon, Bulevardi 15 C 32 (in the courtyard; ring the buzzer no. 32). Tea, coffee and snacks will be served from 4 to 5 pm, followed by a musical workshop from 5 to 6 pm.
The singalong session will be led by Maija Puromies, a specialist in music education and folklore. No prior knowledge of the Sámi language is required; whether you are currently studying Sámi, a native speaker or simply curious to know more, we offer you a warm welcome.
The event will be organised by Helsinki White Ribbon in cooperation with the Finnish White Ribbon Union.
