Japanese Flower Painting Artist Demonstration
Event Introduction
Kiyoko Minami is a professional Japanese flower painting artist based in Japan, specialized in the traditional Japanese painting method called ‘Ippitsuga’ (one brush stroke) to express the nature and beauty of flowers in very original special way. She will show her techniques of drawing and exhibit some of her works.
She has done many exhibitions and workshops in Japan, Finland, France, Australia and Hawaii, Ireland over 37 years:
- Solo exhibition under the patronage of the Japanese Embassy in Lebanon, Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, Lebanon (on air at LBC TV).
- Solo exhibition at Espace Japon, Paris, France.
- 30th anniversary workshop and exhibition in Hawaii state Library, USA.
- 35th anniversary workshop and exhibition in Dublin state council Rathmine library, Ireland *Exhibited at World Art Dubai 2023 and exhibited works at the stage show.
Kiyoko Minami has received a special award by Japanese Calligraphy Academy, Japan (2012), successful fund raising exhibition in Paris, France for victims of explosion (2016), Special award by “Art of Moon festival”, Kyoto prefectural Keihanna memorial park, Kyoto, Japan (2021).
