Event Introduction

Konepaja Night – Welcome to Konepaja in Vallila on the Night of the Arts!

On 20 August, Konepaja will be buzzing with activity throughout the evening and into the night. The programme features culture, music, dancing, food and drink and, of course, the special atmosphere of an August evening.

Corona Baari & Kino Konepaja
Traditional Finnish dance-pavilion atmosphere and timeless Finnish dance-hall classics at Konepajanpasaasi!
On the Night of the Arts, dancing takes over the terraces of Corona Baari and Kino Konepaja from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, accompanied by live music from the Timo Rahkonen Band. Those who wish can start the evening at 5:00pm with a screening of the Finnish film classic Kulkurin valssi at Kino Konepaja.

Eagle Club
The VIP karaoke rooms at entertainment venue Eagle Club are free to use from 4pm to 2am. Come alone, bring a friend or gather a group and step up to the mic!

Pole4Fit
Come and try pole dancing, circus arts and aerial yoga free of charge at Pole4Fit’s Vallila studio. Activities include aerial hammock, floor acrobatics, pole dancing, aerial hoop, body conditioning and aerial yoga.

Project Konepaja
Come and try climbing at Project Konepaja! On the Night of the Arts, anyone interested can take part in a free introductory climbing session with instruction. No previous experience is required.

Super Bario
Super Bario presents a unique and atmospheric performance in which live musicians perform their interpretation of the score to the anime classic Angel’s Egg. Parts of the film will also be projected onto the wall during the performance.

Olarin Panimo
Olarin Panimo turns up the volume for the Night of the Arts! Möyhy-Veikot will take the stage during the evening. The event will also feature the world premiere of Dxxxa & Hzzzt’s new album and its accompanying short film.

Authors’ Distillery
Authors’ Distillery is a craft distillery backed by a group of well-known authors, including Tuomas Kyrö and Christian Rönnbacka. The programme features an open house and an introduction to the distillery.
