Event Introduction

This urban celebration allows you to enjoy the French and German languages, music, short films, poetry and the many other cultural experiences offered by the building’s resident organisations.

French Institute (lift no. 4)
8–9 pm: French silent film Paris qui dort (dir. René Clair, 1923).

Goethe-Institut Finnland (lift no. 8)
6:15–6:45 pm: Goethe-Institut Finland’s writer in residence, Jonis Hartmann, reads poetry in German
7–8 pm: Screening of the classic German silent film Berlin – Die Sinfonie der Großstadt (dir. Walther Ruttmann, 1927).
