Music at home
Event Introduction
Three musicians will invite guests to Amos Anderson’s home and into their own inner worlds on the Night of the Arts. Maija Kauhanen, Anna-Sofia Anttonen and J-P Piirainen will improvise a number of soundscapes in various rooms of the home museum, with the audience welcome to explore the museum space during the performances. Visitors are free to curate their own listening experience and will experience unexpected musical combinations as soundscapes from different rooms blend together from time to time. The musicians’ unorthodox instruments (a kantele with LED lights, ceramic wind instruments and a guitele) create a unique atmosphere.
The performances will begin at 6:30 pm and 8 pm, and each will last approx. 45 minutes.
