Night of The Arts at Luckan

This autumn, Luckan Barnkultur dives into the theme “The Sea and Water”. LillaLuckan will feature a sea-inspired exhibition with works by Lena Frölander-Ulf, Erika Kallasmaa, Jenny Lucander, and Filippa Hella. Vernissage and sea parade – feel free to show up in your most creative ocean outfit, march in the sea parade, and go fishing at the pond game! LillaLuckan’s doors are open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Daycare groups should contact us to register via email: barnkultur@luckan.fi.
3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Tjejvillan, Luckan Barnkultur, and Unginfo celebrate the Night of the Arts on August 20th with bingo and beats. Are you between 10 and 18 years old? Then this event is for you!
Starting at 3:00 p.m., Tjejvillan holds open doors and G SongLab will be on site with a pop-up music lab. Everyone is welcome to chill, have a snack, and try making short beats. At 4:30 p.m., we kick off music bingo. After that, pop artist WLHELMINA takes the stage. She is coming all the way from Stockholm to meet you and perform some of her hottest hits! Come and go as you please, no advance registration needed.
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Chamber Concert with the Chamber Music Society
The Chamber Music Society of Finland welcomes the audience to a versatile concert at Luckan.
The evening’s program offers music from the Classical era, Romanticism, and our time. The program includes works by Gioachino Rossini, Joseph Haydn, Franz Schubert, Jean Sibelius, Bernhard Crusell, Mauro Giuliani, Máximo Diego Pujol, and Amanda Harberg, among others.
The concert is performed by singers and instrumentalists in a varied program of chamber music works for vocals, flute, piccolo, guitar, piano, and string instruments.
The duration of the concert is approximately two hours without an intermission.
