OAF x WSOY literature event
Event Introduction
This year, OAF’s literary programme will be held at the National Theatre’s Lavaklubi.
Programme:
7 pm Poetry performance Ut genom väggen! by DuvTeatern’s Ragnar Bengström
Words and music will be seamlessly interwoven as Bengtström performs his works alongside reciter Sanna Huldén, who edited the texts, with cello accompaniment by Elina Mattila. The performance is directed by Mikaela Hasán.
8 pm OAF Poetry stage
Poets from OAF’s literary programme will take to the Poetry Stage together with WSOY’s guest poet to discuss the possible meanings of literature outside the literary establishment. The event will premiere a diverse selection of textual worlds and sharp observations on what it is to be an outsider.
9:30 pm Nykypost
The band combines a Ginsberg-esque fiery and psychedelic spoken word tradition with the cultural heritage of punk, Thrasher and the Back to the Future films.
The Outsider Art Festival’s literature programme is produced in collaboration with WSOY.
