Samba Reggae Night of The Arts
Event Introduction
People of all ages are invited to a free samba reggae dance workshop! Samba reggae is a powerful and energetic genre of music that originated in Salvador de Bahia and celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026. This combination of musical styles has given rise to its own genre of dance that has enchanted international stars. The workshop will be led by the experienced capoeira master Petti from the Finnish Capoeira Association, Suomen Capoeira-liitto. Participants will learn basic steps, easy moves and new pieces.
