The Mime Experience
Event Introduction
The Mime Experience is a playful mime collage by Antti Eskonpekka (@anttieskonpekka), in which objects come to life and the mime artist’s body conjures up worlds and stories before the audience’s eyes. The performance combines classic mime illusions with experimental contemporary mime.
Antti studies acting at Laajasalo Opisto. He is an ambitious mime artist, clown and improviser, and the performance draws inspiration from both clowning and improvisation. The show is primarily non-verbal and makes use of music. It is suitable for everyone aged three and over. The Mime Experience engages directly with its audience but does not involve audience participation.
