Event Introduction

Come and celebrate the Night of the Arts at Temppeliaukio Church by joining our architecture themed tour and concert!

This tour focuses on the details of the world-famous architecture of Temppeliaukio Church. You will hear the most interesting facts about what became cornerstones in the Suomalainen brothers’ design, and what changes were made to the original plan.

Cantor Henri Hersta provides music to the event and will perform Taneli Kuusisto’s composition for organ Triptyykki op. 70.

The event accommodates a maximum of 40 people. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, no pre-registration. Doors open approximately 15 minutes before the beginning of the event. We recommend arriving well in advance.

On the evening of the Night of the Arts, the church is only open for the attendants of the scheduled events. Earlier in the day, the church is open for sightseeing and the regular entrance fee of 8 € / adult applies.
