The virtuoso fado music of soulful interpreter Kirsi Poutasen and master pianist Esa Helasvuo takes the audience from the alleys of Lisbon to the singing lands of Karelia. It reflects on the human condition amidst world chaos and change: where can deep spiritual peace and hope be found even when outer and inner peace are shaken? Can we meet each other in a moment of sorrows and smiles—and be touched in one another’s presence?
