Night of Shorts
Event Introduction
The highly popular Night of Shorts will once again take place at Teurastamo on the Night of the Arts – and this year’s programme is probably our best ever!
This year, the event will very fittingly be opened by the Ykspihlajan Kino Orchestra, ushering the audience into the atmosphere of Finnish popular songs and film scores. After the performance it’ll be time to dive into the world of Finnish short films, accompanied by interviews with the filmmakers. This year’s programme includes a new Jussi Award winner, an Oscar-shortlisted production and new short films from Teurastamo’s own BUFO and It’s Alive Films.
