Open doors at artist Maaria Märkälä’s studio
Event Introduction
Visitors are invited to have a peek in artist Maaria Märkälä’s wonderful studio at the Cable Factory on the Night of the Arts. Everyone is welcome to check out the ‘exhibition’, i.e. a wonderful mess of paintings scattered all over the space. Watch out for wet paint!

The nearest accessible lift (a service lift that we all use) is in staircase B. The lift is accessible directly from the inner courtyard of the Cable Factory, behind the blue double doors next to staircase B. Maaria Märkälä’s studio is the first space you see as you exit the lift on the 4th floor. There is a low wooden threshold at the studio door; the artist can offer assistance if necessary. The nearest accessible toilet is on the 1st floor, which can be reached using the same service lift used to access the studio, through the first door opposite the lift.
