The call of the Kalevala on the Night of the Arts – an interactive concert
Event Introduction
Try out rune singing, hear stories about the Kalevala and discuss cultural heritage! No registration is required for the Call of the Kalevala workshop led by Ilona Korhonen and Maari Kallberg.
The event is organised by the Kalevala Women’s Association, the Kalevala Society Foundation and the Helsinki Central Library Oodi. The Call of the Kalevala singing workshops are coordinated by the Kalevala Women’s Association, with the support of the Alfred Kordelin Foundation, and are part of cooperation activities related to the European Heritage Label awarded to the Kalevala.
