This Night of the Arts, giant giraffes take over the streets of Helsinki!

The astonishing animal operetta Les Girafes by the French theatre group Compagnie Off is a monumental street performance in the form of a parade, combining masterful giant puppetry, circus, burlesque, and opera.

Suitable for all ages, this work whisks the audience away on a sensory journey through the dreamlike story of the giraffes. Join the joyous parade through the city center streets as these magenta giants bring the urban space to life! The spectacle is crowned by powerful music and high-energy circus arts, both on the ground and in the air.

In addition to professionals, a group of enthusiastic volunteers is sought to assist the giraffes. More information about the open call will be available during the spring—stay tuned to our channels!
