What places make Helsinki unique?

The new visual identity for Helsinki Festival has been designed by the internationally renowned graffiti and contemporary artist EGS. At its heart is a hand-drawn map of Helsinki, created entirely from memory.

But Helsinki is more than just lines drawn on a map – it’s made up of places that matter to us. Which of them make Helsinki meaningful to you?

Helsinki Festival, Helsingin Sanomat, and EGS invite you to share your memories and mark the meaningful places in our city. Tell your story and suggest a location by May 15. Selected places will be turned into EGS artworks during the Festival, highlighting locations and memories that are important to the people of the city.
