Event Introduction

Two a cappella giants in one evening! Huvila is proud to present a tent full of dazzling vocal brilliance as Finland’s leading vocal groups, Club For Five and Rajaton, come together for their only joint concert in Helsinki this year. In addition to beloved favourites from both virtuoso ensembles, the programme includes new songs and arrangements from each group, as well as special jointly arranged pieces for this unique 11-member super-ensemble. The evening also promises room for late-summer surprises.

The internationally acclaimed six-member Rajaton is known for its multifaceted sound world, where classical, jazz, folk and even rock merge seamlessly.

Club For Five captivates its audience with a bold and playful touch, blending deep artistry, humour and Nordic musical tradition. 

This specially tailored concert for Huvila, complete with an intermission, reveals a soundscape where the human voice makes the impossible possible. This long-awaited night, requested by Helsinki Festival audiences for years, will be overflowing with harmony, energy and charisma.
