Are you interested in artificial intelligence (ai) in the context of arts: music, visual arts, performing arts and writing?

This is a forum for presenting and discussing the topic.

We will start with Kevin Abosch’s talk. After the talk we have time for short 5-10 minutes lighting talks by the participants. In the space we have a screen and sound. Bring your own laptop. The discussion will be moderated by Teemu Leinonen & Marko Ahtisaari.

KEVIN ABOSCH is an Irish conceptual artist, who endeavors to distill emotional value from his subjects through photography and various technological methods including AI. For the duration of Helsinki Festival, Esplanade Park hosts Abosch’s exhibition AI Helsinki.

On the Night of the Arts 15 Aug is the world premiere of Abosch’s first film, Am I?. It is also the world’s first synthetic feature film, with every frame created using artificial intelligence. The film will be screened at Bio Rex Lasipalatsi in collaboration with Helsinki Festival, Amos Rex and Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy.
