Event Introduction
One of the biggest singer-songwriters of our age, American artist Cat Power stepped on stage at the Royal Albert Hall in London in November 2022 to recreate, song by song, one of the most famous and music-changing live performances of all time, namely Bob Dylan’s classic concert from 1966. The concert was also released as a live album, and this rare tribute can now be experienced within Huvila’s unique milieu.
The atmospheric evening is opened by Construction, an electronic duo consisting of American Nadya Peek and Marko Ahtisaari, who is the Artistic Director of Helsinki Festival for the last time this year. Peek’s minimalist and sincere approach to electronic music and the driving warmth of Ahtisaari’s bass combine to create a hypnotic state.
