Event Introduction

Helsinki Opera Summer is an unforgettable cultural dive into new music theatre and opera each summer. The festival has been held at the Alexander Theatre since 2021 and remains one of Finland’s most comprehensive showcases of works and artists in the field. The aim of Opera Summer is to support and highlight Finnish chamber opera and music theatre by offering freelance artists and professional groups the opportunity to present their works in Finland’s historic opera house.
